BNP Vice Chairman and former Minister Abdullah al Noman said, police and RAB are playing role of erstwhile Rakhi Bahini with the patronization of the ruling party.
Govt with ill motive of controlling the opposition alliance , police and RAB are being utilizing . He said like RAB, police now is involving with killing of the opposition leaders and activists.
He was addressing a rally and Iftar Mahfil arranged by South District Jubo Dal at a city community centre in Bahaddarhat on Saturday as chief guest.
To protest the killings , abduction of leaders of BNP, the protest rally was arranged.
Abdullah al Noman also said no govt sustained their power through oppression, killings etc earlier and hence the present Hasina govt will not save his throne with killings, abduction and oppression.
He said the democratic movement of the party will be intensified after Eid festival to sustain the democracy in the country through downing the autocratic govt.
President of south district jubodal Badrul Haider presided over it.
Among others former state minister Mir Mohd Nasiruddin, BNP central leader AM Nazimuddin, Sarwar Jamal Nizam, President of south district BNP Ahmed Khalil khan, chairman of Patiya Upazila Prof. Mozaffar Ahmed chowdhury Tipu, vice president Iftekhar Mohsin, Jasus leader Kazi Akbar, Jubodal Mohanagar President Kazi Belal spoke on the occasion.
