Pabna Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mahibul Islam Khan, who was the chief guest at the ‘Open House Day’ meeting organized by Ishwardi police, announced the BPM’s ‘Zero Tolerance of Police against Drugs’ policy. An open discussion was held on Thursday (February 24) at the police station premises with various levels of people’s representatives, political leaders, journalists, teachers, well-wishers and village police. Police Officer-in-Charge Asaduzzaman Asad presided over the function. Special guests were Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas, Municipal Mayor Isaac Ali Malitha and former Mayor and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Alhaj Abul Kalam Azad Mintu.
