A repressed wife sued his police husband before the court in Chittagong for alleged torture on her. Wife of Asstt Sub Inspector of Sadarghat thana under CMP Ishrat Sultana filed a case before the Women & Child Repression Tribunal-1, Chittagong yesterday against her husband Md. Musa for alleged demand of dowry from her father.
The case was filed before the court of Judge Md. Rezaul Karim . The judge of the Tribunal took the complaint in cognizance and directed the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate for submitting inquiry report after proper investigation, court sources said. Additional Deputy Police commissioner Rezaul Masud confirmed the matter of filing of case against the police official.
In the case, beside her husband, three others were also accused for cooperating the ASI . The other accused are brother of ASI Siraj Miah, Dhiraj Meah and wife of Siraj Miah Dil Afroz. Court sources said ASI Musa married Ishrat on September 13, 2013 . Police official Musa , son of Zakir Hossain of Baraidala under Mirsarari thana and was residing in Chittagong in a rental house in the city.
