Jessore police arrested a total of 66 people in overnight raids at eight upazilas across the district, Anisur Rahman, superintendent of police, Jessore informed.
Jessore police, in a press release, issued by the police boss, said the police seized 8 crude bombs and picked up 9 people from Burujbagan under Sharsha upazila. Sub inspector Shafiqul carried out the operation.
The police also seized Yaba pills and illegal drugs from different places across the district, the press release added.
