A press confernence against the unnecessary harassment of police held at chittagong press club hall yesterday morning as arranged by the Allardan Market Motorparts Traders of Muradpur in city .
 The press meet was told that owner of the market premises Tahmina Begum submitted a false allegations against the traders of the market over the payment of shop rent to Panchalaish thana police recently which is totally false and motivated.
 Mentionable that husband of Tahmina Begum built the market over railway land taking lease from railway authority since long. The said owner of the market alongwith some unidentified terror nature people showed unruly behaviour to these market traders very recently and lastly sent a notice of eviction from the shops. Finding no alternatives, the shop traders of the market took shelter of law and filed a civil suit before the Judge court in Chittagong against the owner on July 9 last and the court issued an interim order over on it pending finalization of the injunction case, the press meet was told. The written statement was told that Sub Inspector of Panchalaish thana Sujan Biswas physically visited the market premises on August 9 last and asked them to meet second officer of Panchalaish thana and accordingly the traders meet second officer who utterly misbehaved to them beyond expectations.
 Later on 23 August last Sub Inspector Md. Faruk and 4/5 others in civil dress thrown away the signboard of court’s order over the market and asked them not to open any shops tills further orders. About the recent police behaviours to the traders of the market, they informed the matter in writing to Deputy commissioner, Ctg , Dy. Police commissioner(Panchalaish Zone) and Muradpur Merchants Welfare Samity recently. The traders sought help from the concerned agencies to get relief from the harassment of police officials and the owner of the market from fabricated and motivated allegations pending finalization of the civil injunction suit (No.OS 154/2014). A shop owner of the market Md. Abul Kashem read out the written statement before the newsmen. Among others. trader viz. Aminul Islam, Md. Moshraff Hossain, Md. Abu Taher, Md. Borhanuddin, Md. Shamsul Alam were present in it.
