The Authority has deployed police petrol around the grave of deceased Dr Shamarukh Mahjabin Shama who was killed allegedly by the in-laws on November 13 at his in-laws residence in Dhaka.
A number of police men were deployed at the Karbala Graveyard since 6pm on Sunday, confirmed Bidhan Kumar Biswas, Sub- inspector, Kotwali police station.
Earlier, Engineer Nurul Islam, father of Dr Shamarukh Mahjabin Shama feared that the body of his daughter might be theft from the grave.
He had already handed a written application to the authority of Karbala Graveyard for the protection of the grave. The application was given to the authority on Saturday afternoon.
