Police arrested 55 people, including three, in a drug-related special drive in Satkhira district on Wednesday .
At this time 72 pitch yaba and 4 bottles of Indian liquor were recovered.
They were arrested from Wednesday to Thursday evening in eight police stations in different districts.
Inspector of Satkhira District Police Special Branch Azam Khan said, 10 people from Satkhira Sadar Police Station, 8 from Kolaroa Police Station, 4 from Tala Thana, 11 from Kaliganj Police Station, 7 from Shyamnagar Police Station, 8 from Assasuni Police Station, and seven from Debhata Police Station. 4 Patkelghata police station has been detained. He also said that the detainees have cases against them on various charges including drug and sabotages.
