Bangladesh Police Handball Club emerged men’s division champions in the Niaz-Udayan Builders Victory Day Handball competition beating Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) by 35-27 goals in the final held on Tuesday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) clinched the women’s section title defeating Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defiance Party by 24-14 goals in the women’s division final held at the same venue.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder, MP was the chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
Bangladesh Handball Federation president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul presided over the closing ceremony.
