Independence Cup Handball: Police, BGB in final of Men’s Group

Bangladesh Police and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) moved into the final of the Men’s Group of the Independence Cup Handball Competition on Sunday.
Meanwhile, BJMC and Banglsadesh Ansar & VDP reached the final of the Women’s Group of the same competition on the same day.
In the day’s first match of the Men’s Group, BGB defeated Bangladesh Ansar & VDP by 38-26 goals at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Police beat Quantum Foundation by 41-36 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s third match, BGB edged past Bangladesh Police by 42-35 goals at the same venue.
Meanwhile, in the day’s first match of the Women’s Group, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP overcame Bangladesh Police by 30-8 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s second match, BJMC beat Bangladesh Ansar by 19-12 goals at the same venue.
Today (Monday) BGB will face Bangladesh Police in the final of the Men’s Group at 1.30 pm at the same venue while BJMC will meet Bangladesh Ansar & VDP in the final of the Women’s Group at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
