Bangladesh Police defeated Dhaka District Sports Association by 17-1 points in the Men’s Division Baseball match at the Paltan Maidan on Thursday.
Bangladesh Ansar beat Bangladesh Police by 7-3 points in the Women’s Division Baseball match at the same venue on the same day.
Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association arranged the baseball matches marking the National & International Sports Day.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association (BBSA) Aminul Islam Liton, Members of BBSA Mohammad Ali, Ali Azam Khan and Coach Talha Jubair were present at the time.
Ministry of Youth and Sports and National Sports Council observed the National & International Sports Day in a befitting manner.
Before the matches, Ministry of Youth and Sports and National Sports Council brought out a colourful rally in the city street. All the sports federations and associations took part at the rally.
