Poland women’s volleyball team won 3-0 over South Korea on Saturday to take their second victory in the Volleyball Nations League 2022 at Shreveport-Bossier City, the United States.
South Korea collected just nine points after committing five unforced mistakes in the first set as Poland won 25-9. Substitute Kim Hee Jin booked several effective attacks to pull them back in the second but the Polish players had the last word again as Aleksandra Gryka closed the set by 25-23.
In the last set, Poland eased past South Korea 25-11 to nail the victory.
Olivia Rozanski was the best scorer for Poland with 30 points, while Park Hae Jin poured in 19 points for South Korea.
South Korea, led by Cesar Hernandez Gonzalez, suffered their third consecutive loss in the tournament to lie bottom of the standings while Poland have six points to stand in eighth.
