At least 37 children were allegedly killed due to political violence last year, claimed Social and Economic Enhancement Program (SEEP), an NGO on Wednesday.The organization disclosed the figure at a seminar held in the city on Wednesday. The titled of the seminar was ‘to do for the street children’.Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Mia was the chief guest while SEEP’s Executive Director Fazlul Haque chaired the seminar. In the keynote paper, Abdullah Al Mamun, Program Manager of Manusher Jonya Foundation said, at present the number of street children is over 11.44 lakh, which was 6.8 lakh in 2004.
