Poet and novelist A S M Babor Ali has been awarded Sikandar Abu Zafar Padak 2015 recently. On the occasion of the death anniversary of the renowned poet , lyricist and dramatist Sikandar Abu Zafar , the award was handed over to A S M Babor Ali by Md Abdus Samad, Divisional Commissioner of Khulna in a programme at Tetulia of Satkhira , the birthplace of poet Sikandar Abu Zafar. The function was also attended by artist Sayed Zahangir(Ekushey Padak recipient and brother of Sikandar Abu Zafar), Sayed Didar Bakht(ex State Minister), Nazmul Ahsan(Deputy Commissioner, Satkhira) including others.
Poet A S M Babor Ali has 59 published books.
