(Dedicated to Hon’ble Prime Minister of
New Zealand Jacinda Ardern)
-Abdul Muqit Chowdhury
She rises above all communal barriers,
Raising head for all human.
She rises above all creed and colours
Facing tragedy in love ocean.
She rises in the horizon-shine
Cherishing sun with brightest rays.
She foils all the evil design
Sharing her love as she prays.
For her we all sing in chorus,
For her we clap all in cheers.
She has come to protect us-
Human world with blood-tears.
For love and peace she is guide
For humane brethren only race.
She sends a message for genocide
Cries for a halt the world now face.
Great Jacinda Ardern, Oh
Greet you, treat you best model.
Let the world be a Paradise so
From the present calamity Hell.
We do believe in love, unity
The Quran proclaims: ‘Race human’
We shake hands of solidarity
For a peaceful world we plan.
You have won the whole mankind,
You have gained hearts peace-loving,
In you we find the lady so kind!
A world of love-for you we sing.
In you we all discover
Integrity of human race.
We clap and clap and see no bar
By the Creator’s sublime Grace.
We shower on you flower fragrance,
Praising ringing our bell.
Let all evils devils hence
Drawn forever to the Hell.
‘We are one’ – she proclaims,
And yes, ‘one’ – our voice.
Rises above all communal barriers
Best she is-our choice.
Peace should exist in mankind,
Love and respect should prevail.
Blissful future is the motto,
Lead the world and we do hail.
Let there emerge an era of peace,
Era of unity-love Divine.
Jacinda Ardern-message of love
For ever for ever let us shine.
Note: This poem was composed before in the context of the declaration of the Prime Minister of New Zealand ‘We are one’ after the tragic massacre there. The poem is in quest of peace for mankind and she has been hailed as a symbol of peace. Another tragic massacre has taken place in Sri Lanka on the April 21 before the publication of the poem. We condemn all tragic occurrences.
