A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday between the National Productivity Organisation (NPO) and Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BWCCI) to increase productivity in the small and cottage industries.
The agreement was inked between the two organisations in presence of Industries Secretary Mohammad Abdullah for working together to accelerate small and cottage industries in the country, said a press release.
NPO Director SM Ashrafuzzaman and BWCCI President Begum Selima Ahmed signed the deal on behalf of their respective sides.
Under the MoU, NPO members will get technical expert service in their industries for enhancing the production capacity.
