A workshop on the implementation of business plan 2015-16 of Podakkhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra (PMUK) was held in the auditorium of Krishi Gobeshona Council on August 7 -8 in the city.
Budget for the 2015-16 fiscal was placed and review discussion of last fiscal was held at the workshop.
PMUK President ABM Siddiq inaugurated the workshop, while Executive Director Iqbal Ahmed presided over the function. PMUK Director (Programme Coordinating) Abdul Quddus Mondol, Director, Micro-credit, Md. Saleh Bin Shams, Deputy Director Sarder Shahidul Kabir, and general manager of different sections, zonal managers, among others, were present in the function.
Eighteen prizes were awarded for better performance in last fiscal. Rangamati Branch was awared for best performance in micro-credits. Thirteen branches of 13 zones, three branches for solar programme and one branch for remittance were honoured.
