For the development of mosques and temples in Lohagara Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has distributed grant checks. In collaboration with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Barrister Biplob Barua, checks for a total grant of Tk 8 lakh 15 thousand were distributed to the presidents of 20 mosques and temples at the Upazila Public Hall on Thursday morning.
Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Ahsan Habib Jitu was the chief guest at a function organized on the occasion. Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Muhammad Mahbub Alam Shaon Bhuiyan, South District Awami League Deputy Office Secretary Bijoy Kumar Barua were present on the program.
