Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has provided financial assistance and humanitarian assistance to 16 people of Lohagara at the initiative of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief as humanitarian assistance to the poor and needy affected by the epidemic.
On Sunday morning, the Prime Minister’s financial grant was distributed among the helpless and destitute families of various unions of the upazila.
Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Ahsan Habib Jitu was the Chief Guest at the distribution function. Also present were Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Muhammad Mahbub Alam Shaon Bhuiyan, Lohagara Press Club Organizing Secretary M Hossain Mehedi, Publicity and Publication Secretary Shahzada Minhaj and Executive Member Selim Uddin.
UNO Md. Ahsan Habib Jitu said, the Prime Minister is working relentlessly for the welfare of helpless people. The Prime Minister’s financial grant of Tk. 22 lakh 50 thousand will be distributed to 4,500 families in different areas of Lohagara. As part of this, the Prime Minister’s financial grant has been distributed today’.
