Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will formally inaugurate Upazila Digital Fair and Internet Week, 2015 through video conferencing from her official Ganobhaban residence on Saturday afternoon.
The Internet Week will be observed for the first time in the country aiming to raise the number of internet users across the country and expand internet services.
The Upazila Digital Fair would be held in 487 Upazilas across the country alongside fairs at Dhaka, Rajshahi and Sylhet, which is also expected to involve country’s people from all strata.
The Upazila Digital Fair and Internet Week 2015 are being organized jointly by the ICT Division, BASIS and the telecom operator Grameenphone.
