Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina goes to New Delhi on Wednesday morning to attend the funereal of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee’s wife Suvra Mukherjee.
“After attending the funeral, the Prime Minister will return to Dhaka later in the afternoon,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul
Karim said. PM’s younger sister Sheikh Rehana and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali will accompany the Prime Minister. Pranab Mukherjee’s wife Suvra Mukherjee, who had been suffering from respiratory illness, passed away at a hospital in Delhi on Tuesday morning at the age of 74.
