BSS, Dhaka :
Brushing aside busy schedule, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday spent some time with artists, singers, players, high civil, military and police officials as she hosted a “cha chakra” (tea party) for them
at her official Ganabhaban residence.
The grassy lawn of Ganabhaban resonated with the presence of the huge number of distinguished guests yesterday afternoon.
Sheikh Hasina, also the elder daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, talked to them and enquired about their wellbeing by going around the lawn of Ganobhaban.
She spent a few memorable moments with the artists, players, high civil, military and police officials by gossiping with them and enjoying patriotic and folk songs and recitation of poems.
The physically-challenged children, who won a number of medals in the Special Olympics last year, joined the nearly two- hour programme.
