Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Tuesday evening wrapping up her five-day official visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines that left Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madina for home at 10.40 am (KSA time) carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:50pm.
Deputy Governor of Madina Abdul Mohsen Al Moneef, Bangladesh Ambassador to the KSA and Permanent Representative to the OIC Golam Masih and Bangladesh’s Consul General in Jeddah AKM Shahidul Karim saw her off at Madina airport. She was given static guard of honour at the airport.
During her KSA visit, the Prime Minister performed Umrah and offered Ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid-e-Nababi.
