Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock at the loss of lives and property in a plane crash in Tehran on Sunday. In a message of condolence sent to Iranian President Dr. Hassan Rouhani, the Prime Minister said she is deeply shocked to learn about the tragic plane crash causing loss of many lives including children. “It is a matter of great sorrow for us,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina, on behalf of the Government and the People of Bangladesh and
on her own behalf, conveyed deepest condolences to the government and
friendly people of Iran, particularly to the bereaved families of the victims of this tragic accident.
She sought divine blessing for the departed souls and prayed to Almighty
Allah for bestowing strength on the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.
