Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock at the death of former Acting Editor of the daily Bhorer Kagoj Benazir Ahmed.
In a message of condolence, the Prime Minister said Benazir Ahmed, who kept a low profile, was one of the pioneers of modern journalism in the country.
The media world will always remember him for his contribution to journalism, she said.
The Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
