Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed profound shock at the death of Hasna Hamid, wife of Hamidur Rahman, former treasurer of the then Pakistan Awami League and former MP, and also close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Hasna Hamid is also mother of State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid.
The Prime Minister prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed her sympathy to the bereaved family members.
