Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former Awami League MP Khandaker Abdul Baten.
In a condolence message, the Premier prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family. In separate message of condolence, Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury also expressed deep shock at the death of the former Member of Parliament Abdul Baten.
She expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
