Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Awami League President on Monday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Youth and Sports Secretary of Dhaka Mohanagar South unit of Awami League Sayeedul Islam Paul.
She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Sayeedul Islam Paul breathed his last on Monday morning at a city hospital. He was 56.
He left behind wife, two sons and a host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers.
Meanwhile, Road Transport and Bridges Minister and AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sayeedul Islam Paul.
