Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Jafar Ahmed Chowdhury, a veteran Awami League leader of Chittagong and ex-chairman of the United Commercial Bank Limited.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said Bangladesh Awami League and the people of Chittagong would always remember the contribution of Jafar Ahmed Chowdhury as an honest and dedicated leader.
