Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former State Minister and Member of the Parliament AKM Jahangir Hossain.
In a condolence message, Sheikh Hasina with profound respect recalled the struggle and organisational skill of the former General Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League in establishing the ideology of Bangabandhu at difficult times.
She said a vacuum has been created in the country’s political arena at the death of Awami League leader Jahangir Hossain.
The Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and
conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
