Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed deep shock at the death of Asia Akhter Khatun, mother of Chief Justice Md Muzammel Hossain.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Asia Akhter Khatun died of old-age complications at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital here this evening at the age of 95.
She is survived by two sons, five daughters and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn her death.
