Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves here for London on Friday morning on a six-day visit to the United Kingdom. A VVIP flight (BG-001) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage is scheduled to take off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for the British capital at 9.45 am, PM’s Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri told UNB on Thursday. The flight is expected to reach Heathrow International Airport at 3.30 pm (local time).
The Press Secretary said the Prime Minister would be accorded a reception in London on June 14 on behalf of expatriate Bangladeshis for her outstanding achievements
in different fields, including the implementation of the much-awaited Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) with India.
Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to return home on the morning of June 18.
