Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined a milad and doa mahfil held at the residence of late President Zillur Rahman at city’s Gulshan on Thursday, marking his first death anniversary.

Minister Tofail Ahmed, PM’s Security Adviser Major General (retd) Tariq Ahmed Siddique, AL Presidium Member Adv Shahara Khatun, former Deputy Speaker Shawkat Ali and AL Publicity Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud, PM’s Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil and people from all strata attended the milad held after Asr prayers.
A special prayer was held on the occasion seeking the eternal peace of the departed soul of the late President.
