The business community of the port city hailed the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for ECNEC approval of constructing the long cherished demand of Chaktai-Khalurghat ring road. The leaders of Khatungonj Trade and Industries Association in a joint statement hailed the Prime Minister to meet their long awaited demand of Ring road.
The joint statement was signed by President of the Association Mahbubul Alam, General secretary Sagir Ahmed, former councilor Md. Jamal Hossain, President of Ctg. Dall Mills Associatin Sanjoy dev, general secretarySM Mahim, President Hoarders assoiciation of chaktai-khatungonj Solaiman Badsha, General secretary Ehsanullah, and business leader MA Haider Chowdhury.
For contributing pioneer role in approving the ring road project by CDA chairman Abdus Salam , the Association leaders felicitated the CDA chairman by presenting bouquest at his office chamber on Wednesday last.
The association leaders also greeted the CDA chairman for his sixth time extention as chairman and later they exchanged views with the CDA chairman, a association sources said.
