Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina goes to Patuakhali on Saturday to visit Payra Port and Payra Power Plant.
She will also visit Barguna and inaugurate Barguna 250-bed Hospital, two Fire Service and Civil Defense stations at Bamna and Betagi upazilas, district library, newly constructed community clinics, the construction work of a barrack for women police personnel at district police lines and other projects, official sources said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, while inaugurating the Forth National Development Fair on October 4 through a video conference, told the common people of Amtali upazila that she will visit her previous election area (Amtoli-Taltoli upazila) when she will go to Payra Port.
Official sources said the premier will reach Taltoli at around 2.30pm by a helicopter. Later, she will address a public rally to be organized by the local Awami League at Taltoli Government Model High School ground.
Earlier, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a ‘Sudhi Somabesh’ (civic rally) at Kolapara Power Plant.
Centering the visit of the primer, a gleeful environment is prevailing in the area and the local people are eagerly waiting to see her. People of different professions are in a festive mood ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
