Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina could not control her deep passion for sports as she went to Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur to enjoy the Bangladesh-Pakistan one-off T20 match on Friday evening.
Sheikh Hasina, an avid cricket fan, entered the stadium around 7 pm just after Pakistan took the field to bat after winning the toss against Bangladesh,
The sports-loving Premier was enjoying the match sitting from President Box of the stadium. Extra delight was seen among the crowds at the big bowl when the PM was seen on the stadium’s giant TV screen.
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, was also seen enjoying the match sitting beside the Prime Minister.
On April 19, the Premier also went to enjoy the Bangladesh-Pakistan 2nd ODI match. Bangladesh swept the ODI series 3-0 over Pakistan.
