Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave financial assistance to the family members of 10 victims those killed in a stampede in Chittagong on December 18 last.
Ten people were killed and 50 others injured in the tragic incident at the Qulkhwani of Awami League leader and former city mayor of Chittagong ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury in the morning on that day.
The prime minister handed over cheques for Taka five lakh to each family of the 10 victims who were killed in the stampede on Monday .
Prime Minister himself distributed the cheques during her visit at Chashma Hill residence of Mohiuddin Chowdhury on Monday and exchanged views with the family members of the victims and consoled them.
Prime Minister expressed deep shock over the unwanted incident of stampede during qhulkhani in Chittagong .
