UNB, Dhaka :
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday strongly denounced the terrorist attack near the British parliament in London on Wednesday.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place outside the British parliament on Wednesday,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.
Hasina also expressed deep shock at the death of five people and injuries to 40 others in the attack, he said.
A knife-wielding man went on a deadly rampage in the heart of Britain’s seat of power Wednesday, plowing a car into pedestrians on London’s Westminster Bridge before stabbing a police officer to death inside the gates of Parliament. Five people were killed, including the assailant, and 40 others were injured in the attack.
