Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of senior reporter of private television channel Ekushey TV Mamunur Rashid.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family. Mamunur Rashid, who covered the Prime Minister’s bit, breathed his last around 11:30 pm on Monday at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in the capital.
He was a student of Dhaka University’s Mass Communication and Journalism Department (2003-04 session).
