Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday strongly condemned the attack on Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal and asked the authorities concerned to bring the perpetrator to justice.
“The Prime Minister is constantly enquiring about Zafar Iqbal,” PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
The renowned writer was also airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka at her directive, he said.
