Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday administered the oath of office to newly-elected Patuakhali District Council Chairman Khalilur Rahman Mohan at her office here.
“He (Khalilur Rahman) was sworn-in at a simple ceremony with the Prime Minister administering his oath of office,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the event.
Local Government Division Secretary Abdul Malek conducted the function.
LGRD Minister Engineer Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain, Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip ASM Feroz, PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury and Senior PMO Secretary Suraiya Begum were present.
