A weeklong tree plantation week as arranged by Chittaging University of Engineering & Technology inaugurated at university campus on Wednesday .
Vice chancellor of the university Prof. Dr.Md. Rafiqul Alam inaugurated the week as chief guest at Central shahid minar premises of the campus . Saplings of different species of fruit based, herbal and forestry were planted in the opening ceremony.
Among others, Dean of the Civil Engineering faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Hazrat Ali, dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr.Md. Mahbubul Alam, Dean of Electric and Computer Engineering Prof. Dr. Mahbub Abdul Matin Bhuyia, Dean of Architect andPlanning Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Registrar(additional charge) Prof. Dr.Farukuzzaman Chowdhury and the heads of different offices were present in the inaugural session.
