Abontika Boral, girlfriend of Proshanta Kumar Halder, known as PK Halder has been landed in the jail on completion of three days’ remand.
Senior Special Judge of Dhaka KM Imrul Kayes passed the order on Wednesday.
Earlier, a team of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) led by its Deputy Director Md Salahuddin arrested her from Dhanmondi R.A. of the capital in connection with her alleged link with PK Halder. Later on January 13, she was produced in the court seeking a three-day remand to question her about the incident.
On January 5, the High Court slapped an international travel ban on 25
people, including Abontika, for their alleged connection with PK Halder.
The same court on December 29, last year ordered attachment of PK Halder’s immovable properties including two flats in the Dhanmondi R.A.
Earlier, court on January 4, placed PK Halder’s accomplice Shangkha Bepari on a three-day remand.
