UNB, Rajshahi: A female pilot was burned to death and another suffered burn injuries when a training aircraft caught fire at Shah Makhdum Airport here on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Tamanna. Rumi, an engineer of Bangladesh Flying Academy, said the engine of the training aircraft caught fire at the airport while taking off around 2 pm, leaving Tamanna dead on the spot and instructor Syed Kamal injured with burns. Syed was whisked off to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
