Pickup van driver Nurul Absar (25) was killed in a head on collision of the pick up with the opposite directed picnic bus on Chittagong Cox’sBazar Highway yesterday morning.
The picnic bus was carrying picnic aspirants of Dhaka Eden girls college going to Cox’sBazar for enjoying picnic there.
The picnic bus collides head on with the pickup van in front of Satakaaia Jafar Ahmed Degree College at about 8 am leaving 8 picnic fans injured .
The victim Nurul Absar is the son of Nurul Amin of Sadaka area of Satkainaupazila in Chittagong, police sources said.
The injured students were given primary treatment at a local hospital, sources said. The victim driver was expired while rushing to Dohazari Hospital, sources said.
