Pickup van driver was killed following the head=on collision of pickup van and a lorry at Naya Rasthar matha under Bandar thana in city yesterday afternoon.
Assistant of the pickup van critically injured. The incident occurred at 2pm yesterday. The killed pickup driver identified as Md. Shahnawaz(35).
Chittagong Medical College Hospital police camp sources said, critically injured pickup van driver and assistant quickly rushed to hospital where the attending physicians declared the pickup van driver dead and the assistant remains under treatment in the casualty department, sources said.
