State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Narayon Chandra Chanda urged physicians for providing upmost level of healthcare services to common people of the country with limited resources. Requesting physicians and nurses to be more careful and coordial while providing services to patients, he said physicians should regularly present at their workplaces to provide healthcare services to people uninterruptedly. He was speaking at the managing committee’s meeting of Phultala Upazila Health Complex here on Saturdayyesterday. He said the government has allocated required finance to the health sector to make sure healthcare service for all and it is working uncompromisingly to reach healthcare facilities at the people’s door steps. The minister termed physicians as the proud sons of the soil saying community clinics have brought epoch-making change to country’s health services.
