A female physician named Dr.Shirin Fatema (57) committed suicide jumping from the 8th floor of one multistoried apartment building in the port city. The incident occurred in Road No.6 of Khulsi posh residential area under Khulsi thana in city on Wednesday evening, police sources said.
The body of the victim sent to morgue of Chittagong Medical college hospital for autopsy and a UD case has been lodged with the concerned police station , sources said.
Officer In-charge of Khulsi thana Md. Nizamuddin quoting the statement of the family members of the victim told that Fatema was suffereing from mental disorders since long as such he jumps from the roof of 8th floor of the building.
