One Md. Imran was allegedly kidnapped by the paid terrorists with the sequel of a love marriage in Chittagong . Imran is the maternal uncle of Md. Abdul Kader Jumon . Jumon gets married with Farzana Farhin , daughter of Anowarul Islam of Burirchar , Hathazari thana before a court in Chittagong on 9 February last with swearing affidavit of love marriage .
In continuation of this love marriage, mother of Farzana Nasima Begum lodged a kidnap and women repression case before the Rangunia thana accusing bridgegroom Jumon , his father, mother and uncle Imran.
After surrender before the court on Decmber 3 last, Mrs. Farzana was allowed to stay with her husband Jumon, the press meet was told.
The victim Imran read out a written statement before the journalists at Chittagong Press Club hall on Wednesday.
In the press meet, elderly mother of Imran, brother Yakub Ali, elder brother Shahjahan, relative Hashem chowdhury and Liaquat ali were present . The press meet was told that some hired terrors of bridge’s mother Nasima Begum, Imran was kidnapped from Sikarpur area under Hathazari thana in Chittagong in a pickup vehicle and tortured inhumanly by Nasima Begum inside the vehicle. Imran told that he was brought in the house of Saleh Ahmed of Lelang village in Fatikchari thana and roped in a wooden pillar and torturned inhumanly and at one stage his right leg was broken by the beating of iron rod by the kidnappers.
After fleeing of these terrorists in the morning, the victim Imran somehow seek help of neighbor house and the neighbours call his elder brother Yakub ali over cell phone. Sensing the news of kidnap case, the thana police of Fatiklchari and Hathazari thana stormed on the spot and rescued him from that house and brought in Hathazari thana custody. Later he was sent to Chittagong medical hospital for better treatment. The press was also told that after getting bail from court, the accused Nasim Begum giving life threats to the Jummon’s family members .
