Senior photojournalist Mir Mohiuddin Sohan has died at the age of 55. He had long been suffering from cardiac diseases and breathed his last on Tuesday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka. He left behind his wife, a daughter and host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death. He retired from Ittefaq in 2012 after three decades of working there, Ittefaq Special Correspondent Mainul Alam told bdnews24.com. He received several awards for his outstanding photography. He was also an exponent of Tagore’s songs and was a regular artist of Bangladesh television and radio, Alam said. His Namaj-e-Janaza was held at National Press Club in the afternoon.
