Kutubuddin is that kind of person who couldn’t take part in the liberation war due to his paralysis. But he inspired teachers, doctors, farmers, labourers and youths to take part in the liberation war in 1971. He also inspired his son Habib to take part for the independence of the country. Like him many fathers lost their sons in the war.
It is the story of Indepedence Day’s special telefilm titled ‘Phirey Phirey 71,’ which was written by Mirza Rakib under the adaptation of a story written by Monju Sarkar. Directed by Sadek Siddiqui its script was written by himself.
Shahriar Nazim Joy, Ishana, Gazi Rakayet, Hannan Shelly, Ashraf Kabir, among others, performed in different roles in the telefilm.
Dr Mahfuzur Rahman and Shimu gave their vocals for the title song of the telefilm.
While talking about the telefilm its director Sadek Siddiqui told this correspondent, “Liberation war is a part of our life. Not only making the telefilm I want to give message of the liberation war to all. I believe everybody especially the young generation will inform about our heroic freedom fighters by watching this telefilm.”
